The Story of Tecassia

2019

Tecassia was founded in 2019 by Camilla Fellas Arnold. At university Camilla specialised in design for print with a BA (Hons) in Design for Publishing and an MA in Communication Design, passing the International Society of Typographic Designers student assessment and was shortlisted in The Royal Society of The Arts student design awards. Following graduation Camilla worked as a freelance graphic and book designer for several years before setting up Tecassia to provide design and production support for indie authors.

2021

Tecassia was shortlisted in The Family Network’s Small Business of the Year Awards’. Camilla completed an ILM Level 7 diploma for executive and senior coaching and mentoring to offer coaching services to writers along with proofreading and editing services. Tecassia’s hybrid published works, Beyond Words: A Child’s Journey Through Apraxia by Dana Hall was awarded the Mom’s Choice Gold Award and Spiritpreneur Success Stories was shortlisted in the Business Book Awards.

2024

After a two-year hiatus due to health issues and personal reasons, Tecassia was relaunched as a partnership between Camilla Fellas Arnold and long-time collaborator Emily Tuck to take Tecassia forward in supporting more indie authors with their writing and publishing dreams. Tecassia’s mission is to empower authors to share their voices with the world while rewriting the paradigms of publishing to create more opportunities to be seen, heard and make money from their author career.

Here at Tecassia, we are passionate about challenging the narratives of publishing, storytelling and success, putting the power back into our author’s hands to share their stories with the world through supportive, collaborative hybrid publishing.

We work with our authors to support their mindset and approach to authorship as a career, helping them unlock and cultivate their authentic voices to create exceptional stories. Collaborative in nature, we operate a hybrid publishing model to create a supportive, collaborative environment which allows our authors to retain more rights and control over their work along with higher royalties, wide distribution and access to our publishing expertise.

Our Imprints

Tecassia Publishing is our main imprint. We publish extraordinary, visionary books and charity projects. Tecassia also publishes books created under Camilla’s passion project brand I Love Shelties, to build awareness and increase representation of the Shetland Sheepdog breed in the media.

Sacred Illuminations is our specialist imprint that publishes books centred around the topics of the divine feminine and divine masculine, sacred sexuality and divine union.
