The Story of Tecassia
2019
Tecassia was founded in 2019 by Camilla Fellas Arnold. At university Camilla specialised in design for print with a BA (Hons) in Design for Publishing and an MA in Communication Design, passing the International Society of Typographic Designers student assessment and was shortlisted in The Royal Society of The Arts student design awards. Following graduation Camilla worked as a freelance graphic and book designer for several years before setting up Tecassia to provide design and production support for indie authors.
2021
Tecassia was shortlisted in The Family Network’s Small Business of the Year Awards’. Camilla completed an ILM Level 7 diploma for executive and senior coaching and mentoring to offer coaching services to writers along with proofreading and editing services. Tecassia’s hybrid published works, Beyond Words: A Child’s Journey Through Apraxia by Dana Hall was awarded the Mom’s Choice Gold Award and Spiritpreneur Success Stories was shortlisted in the Business Book Awards.
2024
After a two-year hiatus due to health issues and personal reasons, Tecassia was relaunched as a partnership between Camilla Fellas Arnold and long-time collaborator Emily Tuck to take Tecassia forward in supporting more indie authors with their writing and publishing dreams. Tecassia’s mission is to empower authors to share their voices with the world while rewriting the paradigms of publishing to create more opportunities to be seen, heard and make money from their author career.
